Respiration is located in Soma, Manisa. The site designed by think,ng the Darkale area which has tunels underground to connect houses. As a reference to this, thye main axe is getting through underground by playing with the levels of ground. It elongates in the direction of prevailing wind for taking air to inside of the site like the ‘’life line’’ in the mines.

The idea of the Respiration is to increase the density of the heart of Soma and turn it into an active city center. Respiration welcomes all community of Soma with its many free open spaces as green areas and takes people’s attractions with commercial, social and residencial places and gives opportunity to take place different events in cultural places
